it seems that that industrial place has its own erotic character buried deep inside. the shapes, the feeling that if you are staring enough it'll all melt down in front of you. a bit scary but also calming place. nice. i like it.

Thank-you for taking the time to comment, I appreciate it. The place itself had a bizarre aesthetic; it had been mothballed without warning over the course of a week so there were old coffee cups and newspapers sitting on tables; coats in the locker room; numbers scrawled on walls.

Yes, super DOF and a whiff of menace that holds the viewer. That floor stain has presence in the frame.

Yes indeed; it's something that I didn't even notice at the time of shooting, but I guess something must've caught my attention on a subconscious level. Thank-you for the comment, it's appreciated.

Heh; it was certainly a haunting experience, going through this huge facility with no-one else around.

It's a blessing and a curse; the more of these mothballed facilities there are, the worse the economy is doing.

As it is this factory has been demolished now; these photos are all that remain of it.

Yes indeed; I only wish I had more time in there to myself. There were entire floors and substations that I didn't get the chance to explore due to my assistant duties that day! The place was huge, heh.
