Description
A few sketches I did from Sonic X of characters' expressions... I do a lot of these, but these ones felt worthy of display for some reason or another. I was thinking about how the show could have been awesome... but they covered it in a layer of cheese so thick that I couldn't bear to watch the whole first season. They say that many an artist got his/her start by doing his own "improvement" on something he/she liked. My mom used to write her own episodes of Star Trek.

Sweetness! I can see how it measures up to the Sonic X style. Maybe even better! I see a lot of my style for sonic in there also for some reason.
Oh man if that show hadn't had layered on the cheese... that smelly, kiddy, annoying cheese.

Probly cause you've always done the "true" Sonic look, with the rounded features and organic edges (especially in the regions of the eyes and mouth). I always did 'em as edgy as I could get away with.
And yeah, the show could've totally rawked if 4Kids hadn't gotten their moldy, cheese-covered hands all over it. The first episode was probably the best, and it all went downhill from there.
