In order to give y’all a break from all the sad Fingons I’ve been drawing, here’s a happy Fingon with Aredhel! I headcanon that she adores Fingon, and one day she told him that she wants to wear his ribbons and beads. So he fixed up her hair with all the pretties! I imagine there’s more weaves and patterns in the back loll

As lovely as Aredhel looks with the ribbons, I feel that she’s more into wearing her hair long, or maybe tying it back in a simple knot. But even so, she couldn’t help but show off her new hairstyle to her family and friends, likely even Celegorm and Curufin XDD And I’ll bet they tried not to care outwardly -- I headcanon that they don’t like Fingon at all, and they’d say aloud that she looks too much like him (as an insult), but Aredhel stubbornly takes it as a compliment. Of course, deep down Celegorm and Curufin grudgingly admit that she does look pretty with the gold ribbons and beads casting off light in her hair

I don’t have much Silmarillion art in the works after this one, but I do have some OC drawings in progress! Man, I’ve missed drawing my OCs
