i really loved the City Elf origins story, because it's so full of angst...ahh, the angst *dreamy*so, this is a scene from the disastrous wedding featuring shianni and kirin tabris (with a bit more drama, because i actually didn't realize the scale of the tragedy when i first saved shianni in the game...it became clear to me only in the subsequent dialogues).
this is my first drawing after a really long hiatus. the poses are messed up and i was too lazy to draw the dagger that kirin is supposed to be reaching for (let's all pretend that it's there, anyway).
p.s. i'm on my way to the archdemon and the wedding ring is still in the equipment. i feel like i'm getting sentimental, hehe.

I'm at the end of the game (playing as a female city elf), and I am also wearing the wedding ring. I thought Nelaros was cute and was sad; and I've loved Shianni ever since.
This image is very powerful in relaying the pain both Shianni and the Warden must be feeling.

City Elf Origin fan here too! I love Shianni and I hate what happened to her, that molded my character's behaviour completely. Your drawing is amazing, so full of emotion! And more likely to what surely happened in the game and not what we saw on it!
I would have liked to have seen the dinner Shianni offers to the PC when you meet again at the Alienage, don't you?

I think both Elf stories were very cool they have the best best Beginnings ( but Human stories were more story-ish )

thank you! it's very nice to receive some positive feedback, since it's the first piece i've done in more than a year. that, and i've been itching to do some dragon age fan art for ages.
i also liked the human noble story a lot since it's connected to the main plot. the dalish elf story appeared a bit disappointing (and i didn't really get how my character was supposed to be cured from the curse by adding the dark spawn taint on top of it)...but the city elf one is my favourite. probably because it gave a bit more insight onto the alianage life and you could relate to the character more.

@Dragon Age , I agree ,and compared to the human noble the other seems kinda lacking story-wise later on on the origin stories , Dragon Age 2 need to have more for all.
