Description
Python regius Super Cinnamon "Ball Python"Male hatched 12.05.2012.
Ball Pythons are one of the most popular pet snakes worldwide. They're kind, small and relatively hardy species to keep. There are countless of different color morphs available. Super Cinnamon is quite new morph, the first ones appeared in public year 2002. Since there's not many individuals around yet, Super Cinnamons are pretty valuable.
Ball Pythons originate from Africa. They are found in grasslands, savannas and sparsely wooded areas. They usually grow 90-120cm (3.0–3.9 ft) long, and feed mainly on small rodents. When stressed or frightened, they curl up into a tight ball, thus the name "Ball Python".

I think im in love with this snake. Just a curious question, how much would you estimate one would cost?

The cost depends on the morph. This black morph costs about 750-950 dollars today, while you get the most common morph "wild type" usually for 60-120 dollars.

8Ball! I have a little 2011 male Black Pastel, and plan on getting him either a Cinny or another Black Pastel girlfriend, to breed some of these. I know a lot of people find the "8 Balls" plain, but to me they look almost like mini White-Lipped Pythons, and their iridescence shows up much better than patterned Balls.

Get another black pastel, you'll get blacker snakes and less 'duck bill'. I love the super black pastels! I'm working on super black pastel pieds myself.

Thank you; I will be on the lookout for a female Black Pastel. They are generally a bit cheaper and easier to find than female Cinnies, which can be just about impossible to get your hands on around here.

I love the black pastels because they do such wonderous things to the other morphs when you blend them.

Much luck to your project. I personally like this color morph most. Can't wait to see how his color develops. I'll probably use him for breeding as well, when he gets mature.
