Finally got around to opening up my portfolios from high school and snapped some quick pictures of art. You know, I had a lot of good art from five years ago that I had forgotten I had ever made!This piece I called "Gothic Cathedral". It's a mandala, the media is Prismacolor pencils; it's about two feet in diameter. One of my favorite pieces from back in my abstract period of art.
You can also see the sketch that I made the piece from. I experimented with some interesting colors before focusing on the red and blue scheme.

Glad to hear you like it! I have a soft spot for geometric shapes myself. There was a period back in high school where I drew things like this pretty much continuously, so I got pretty good at freehanding them.
I just remembered that I have something else I need to post. It's heavy, it's old, it's got sixteen wheels and a fresh coat of black paint...
