Description
The military parade of the Royal Expeditionary Force of the Lego Empire begins with its oldest faction. The Mobile Infantry was the classical form of the REF as it was first envisioned by its founder Baron von Brick (passenger seat of the lead car). Fast-moving, heavily-armed and formed of the Empire's most enthusiastic and experienced troops, this elite fighting unit forms the core of the armies protecting the Imperial border.

Unlike the bulk of the Crown Royal Army, the REF emphasizes the use of technology. Their equipment represents an eclectic mix of older and new technology representing the limited scope of industry in the Empire. The standard infantryfig is armed with a basic Rifle (Range 12", Use 3, Damage 1d6+1) which possesses a good range although lacking in hitting power. The Heavy Machinegun (Range 12", Use 4, Damage 2d6, Special Ability "Strafe") is the practical primary weapon of the REF, providing a single soldier with the capability of killing several opponents at range in a single attack. The classical deployment of the Heavy Machinegun is a pintle-mounted weapon utilized against squad plates for devastating damage.
