Fun fact: the sketch for this was the first sketch I made of Milkweed for the previous drawing I posted, however I was pretty unhappy with how it was turning out so I scrapped it. But then, I was thinking about angles and how much trouble I tend to have with them, particularly with the faces of dragons, and when I saw the sketch for this, realized with a few tweaks that I could turn this into something pretty good!
Also, while I was drawing this, I decided to bring back the black and white Inktober style I used last year just for fun. I've missed this style quite a lot!
Compared to my drawing of Indigo, from February, which was the last time I tried an angle like this, this is a huge improvement in my opinion. My biggest criticism of my drawings from the 3/4 angle is that the style becomes a bit too different compared to my 2D ones (see my Indigo drawing). Thankfully, I think I got it really close to my usual style this time, which is a pretty huge achievement in my opinion! I'm really happy about this drawing.

Expect another drawing of Lantern soon, as Blue just opened her art contest for Lantern (it was by pure coincidence that I drew him before then) and I want to draw a fullbody of him.
