When Aha-Bahdon got torched, it's monster inhabitants got their DNA all screwed up, with few getting more mutated than the Namazu , which would become the Botatsu on Aha-Bahdon.

The Botatsu float high up in the stratosphere of Aha-Bahdon, inhaling the toxic Aha-Bahdon air and expelling the heavier, denser elements through their gills in order to stay afloat. They are quite camouflaged among the smoke clouds, so you'll want to have good radar on your airship to avoid hitting them. Their big smiles also betray them, as those are easy to spot.

They are thought to be about as sentient as jellyfish. When they are hit by an airship. or when an ash dragon takes a bite out of one, they explode, raining countless chunks of catfish meat on the planet's surface. These bits form more Botatsu that float up into the stratosphere. It takes a while for them to become airborne however; They'll sit on the the planet's surface inhaling and exhaling, attempting to take in light enough elements to float off. As long as you grab them while they're small, they're safe to eat and will taste like smoked Namazu. Wait for them to get too big and they'll just explode if you try to eat them.

Ash Dragons pop these things all the time, so you'll never know when free catfish meat is just going to rain out of the sky.
