Description
Here's the first piece to be inducted into the 'Throwback Thursday' hall of fame. This gem from 1997.It's from an 11 x 14 sketch pad that my American Eskimo Dog went on to puke on ( thankfully, most of the pics were scanned before that incident ) and was done in prismacolor pencil, which was my tool of choice back then. The poses were based on group shots from the main opening theme song.
Looking at this now, I have to smile and kind of facepalm. True, this thing was drawn almost 20 years ago, but Exile is sporting an awesome pair of moobs there, and they all have bumblebee bodies XD Plus I love the doofy look on Exile's face and how Shag just looks incredibly bored to be there. Ha ha ha.

No problem, I'm not sure why but I think it is a lot more appropriate.
As of now I am just a high school student, but I am saving a lot of money to go to a film school so I can hopefully make a movie continuing Road Rovers. (That's if Warner Brothers allows me as they probably have the copy write)

I know- right? I didn't even know it wasn't coming back until the morning of the new 97 Kids WB season and I sat there and watched every single crappy show in the lineup ( 'Waynehead?' all my NOPE ) and after it was over, I was like, 'What, no Road Rovers? The hell?' Was sooooooooo disappointed. That's when I started writing letters to WB and bugging the hell out of them. They sent me a lot of free RR stuff, though, to try and appease me ^_^
But thanks so much ^_^ Wish it didn't take me so many years to improve, but I went through a period in my 20's where I hardly drew at all. So that has a lot to do with it XD

I'm with the other posters, this pic's closer to the show's anatomy and style, than how your own eventually evolved.
But yes, I love Shag's "WTF am I even doing here?" face. "Man, I have a singularity in my fur. Got a plasma-screen TV with Netflix in there. *sigh* Photo ops. Right. Don't mind me, just standing here being huge..."
