The original pencil drawing was really cool, but I think it has benefited nicely from color. The charming pencil texture is still there, and the color is just so eye-catching and does a great job of highlighting more things about the original drawing, such as the floating spiky citadel in the sky. Overall, the piece has a crazy, ominous, awesome feel to it.
