Stunning mate. as jark said, the story makes it ever better.
...great and refreshing visual art that to me crosses over between traditional style, true art, and the more modern "pwiddy picture" "art" excellently, and the story is pretty nifty too!

hi *avenescent , thank you, i'm really just enjoying the creative part here. Not for any specific client commission at all. I'll defin. use them on the web, a portfolio/PDF, as a mailer with other attachments, etc., hopefully to show a depth of my digital abilities, tell a story, and i will make a picture book too, which is always my favorite thing to do.
I always wanted to make picture books with short nonsensical, (not totally foolish ) stories, sort of in the same genre as Dr. Suess. I loved reading his books when I was a kid, the pictures were a gas to me then, and I learned to read. Often instead of reading a book to make a report on in school, would instead make up one, and write a critique on it. Maybe I was just lazy or didn't have enough time to pick out a book, but making one up was more fun, and I did like the fact I could pull one over on my teacher.

they're wonderful and in particular i sense the spiritual arena will find them quite healing. i'm going to show them to our chief editor (sandra sedgbeer) later in the month (when she returns to SD) and just see what she experiences.
thank you for sharing so personally. although i have a tendency to do it, it seems a bit more rare of DA than i'm accustomed to. so i appreciate your openness.

Thanks so much Aven, . . . These are just great fun to put together. I'm off the valley up north, running late.

Woah. Very nice work. The story is starting to make a bit more sense now !
The artwork is absolutely superb. The ornaments look great, and the energy shells in the grass look eerie.
