when you go to submit a new picture, it asks for a category, and i've submitted 3 other pics before, and it (my deviantART)won't let me pick a category. idk what to do

It is "Sta.sh". kind of saved file name. When you go to "submit art", under the "Choose a file to upload" button, there is a small writing "Select file from Sta.sh". Maybe all your uploaded artworks were saved there. You need to search DA's FAQ as well. So you may find some answers.
