ππ₯The report was due at midnight, and it was already 11:30. You had been working on it all day, but you just couldn't seem to get it done. Your boss was going to be angry if you didn't finish it on time.
You tried typing faster, but your fingers felt like they were made of lead. The words wouldn't come out right no matter how hard you tried. Sweat beaded on your forehead and trickled down your back. You were so close to finishing, but time was running out fast.
You start to realize that there's no way you can finish this report in time. Your head is swirling with thoughts of what might happen if you don't meet your deadline. The angry looks, the scathing words...the possibility of getting fired...
Suddenly, the door flew open and your boss stormed in. He slammed his hands down on your desk and shouted at you that the report better be finished by midnight or else there would be consequences. His face was red with anger and spit sprayed from his mouth as he yelled.
