Description
I had to take this with the Mac desktop camera, so the plush had to be held, thus revealing me to the camera lens. I know it looks weird, but this is about this cute Flygon, not my fat head; I had to do what I could to blur me out. This is a smaller Chrysophylax the Flygon (I miss that guy...). Some very lucky individual has someone who loves them enough to get them a dragon Pokemon for Christmas morning! He is about 19 inches long and 5 inches high.
This actually not a difficult Pokemon to do at all, but I feel like I could have made him cleaner, if not for the stupid green yarn. Something about the texture and thickness was just off, so it was doing strange things to the shape of the tail. I am debating on getting my supplies from elsewhere; this town hasn't been giving me good material at all since I moved here.
I haven't named him anything yet... He will probably be christened something once I have captured a Trapinch in my Omega Ruby game. I have been balancing that joy with everything going on around at Artisan's Shadow, but I know my priorities, don't worry
Thanks for looking, hope you like, and enjoy ORAS! Fit some Thanksgiving in between game time, everyone! :3

Hi! I was hoping you have a pattern you are willing to share for this Flygon! My sister is a huge fan and her birthday is coming up and I would love to make one for her!

Thank you for the interest, but I don't really have patterns. I have been trying to do them, however, I am a hopeless free-hand crocheter. The most I can do at this point is offer advice to people with their creations and force myself to remember to write down what I do in the future.

Thanks! I appreciate the response. At the moment I can only make creations with patterns, I haven't quite gotten the hang of how to increase/decrease to get the shapes I want. Thanks again though!

Sure thing. ^^
And, oh, boy, I remember those days. Honestly, it is just a bunch of trial and error. Find patterns with shapes that are at least close to what you want and improvise.

Thank you ^^
Unfortunately, I do not yet have a pattern for his little guy. I will put him on the list, however.

Love how you did the eyes! I read down here how you do it. Is sewing the parts together better for a clean look or will glueing with textile glue do the trick as well when cutting out everything neatly?

Thank you very much! ^-^
Well, both can give you a clean result, but it really depends on what you are doing, how much you trust yourself, and who it is going to. For example, when I know something it going to be a play-thing for a child, I actually use BOTH methods just because I want their toy to look good for a long time. When I have something exceptionally small, I either try and sew it on, or use tweezers and glue it. While the gluing method can yield a nice, clean result, I don't always trust my hands. I can't correct a mistake and if I get glue on the plush, the plush has to be redone entirely It simply depends on how badly my hands are shaking that day, ha ha.

Ah okay, thank you for sharing! I will try to think of those details as well in the future when making gifts

I have to use tweezers, actually, when people want smaller plushes, ha ha. It can be such a pain in the butt, because the felt gets thin and frail when it is overworked. If you don't get it right the first two tries with the thread, then you have to cut out all the pieces again. x____x

Yeah...
I hate dA art, if it spoilers. In this case it's only half frustrating. I have 2 Gen3 Games for Advance. But it's painful to see or read ...

I know what you mean. I went to play my Pokemon Pearl game the other day, and it actually gave me a headache to stare at the screen and follow along. I can play Red/Blue/Yellow just fine on my SuperNintendo, but not my Gameboy.... I guess I got spoiled with all the upgrading Pokemon has done.
