I couldn't pass up the February prompt for a quick batch of soft personal work!

Shrike has a pretty serious crush on Astrid but he's far too awkward and shy to act on it outwardly.
Plus, she terrifies him.

So he has settled for pining from a distance, too worried about making her uncomfortable or being rejected to muster up the courage to tell her how he really feels. I like to think that his longing glances at her are not invisible to the rest of the clan and that most (if not all) of the Flanks just roll their eyes at his displays of puppy love.
