Description
A rough paint study. Ive been really into color and value recently. Its always been more of a subconscious approach and wanted to play around with it more. I used a reference image by Tarasov which I found to have fantastic values. I didn't to focus too much on paint quality and form. I wanted to keep the mud tones on the body, the shadows being the darker point and he background being the lighter tones. Also started looking into Shadow Mapping which I have tried to use.

Its not my usual style of work but Im always looking to new sources to better myself artistically. Next challenge is to apply what I have learned into my usual works.
