Description
This is my interpretation of the great Super Mario. It was for an assignment in my college art class, in which I had to copy artwork from another artist. In this case I chose the work of the legendary Shigeru Miyamoto, and this picture features Mario in one of his many "Mario Party" poses. The secret to my success, if you'd like to call it that, is the use of the 'grid drawing' technique. That was my lesson in the class for this assignment, and that is what I applied to my work. I'm rather proud of the result, even if it's not perfect.

Mario is copyright Nintendo 1981 (I think - don't sue me if I'm off).
