Panda nom nom noming on a bamboo. I drew this after a friend of mine went to China for awhile and witnessed some pandas!

This is absolutely adorable. The belly and cheeks especially stand out as giving it more character. The bamboo is simple enough to fit with the design but still manages to show some detail.
The first thing that bothers me is the closer foot. It's completely straight forward despite that leg looking a bit more angled. The outline near the black also looks awkward, it's sharper than most of the outlines in the picture.
The shading looks good, though it's a bit soft in contrast to the thicker lines that make up the panda. The shading on the panda also seems a bit different than the shading on the bamboo or the dragonfly.
Over all this is a very cute picture. It's simple and has only a few elements but they work well together. The simple color pallet helps the piece as well. e.deviantart.net/emoticons/m/m⦠" width="15" height="15" alt="

I agree 100% of everything you have said. Especially at the foot now that I look at it. I have gained more practice since making this panda so I will go back and rework with it soon. Thank you so much for the great feedback!
