And it is the first train back to Kalka Station. We rode this 10:30am train from Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, India back to the Guest House. I wasn't in the mood to take pictures during the first day so I compensated by taking a pic of the train before we left.

The trip was a bloody 6-hour ride from 2200+ meters high, 96kms from Kalka. At first it was enjoyable since we get to see new sights, but after a few hours it got tiring. Well, you get to see almost the same scenario of looping around the mountain, passing through a tunnel and stopping on each of the 13 stations, so.. I guess it's inevitable. I wasn't feeling well during the trip, too, so yeah.

It was during this trip too that we were kind of ambush-interviewed for a pilot episode of a station that's about to launch next year. Their program was about travel and me and my parents, as well as other passengers in our coach, were asked the usual questions on what we have seen during the trip, what we did and how we viewed the whole of Himachal Pradesh (despite the fact that we've only been to two places in the said state; Manali and Shimla). The interview was a fiasco as I'm never fond of staying in front of the video cam, . I can't even remember what I answered, LMAO.

Anyway, here's a photo from our trip to India this year. I'll be sure to post more after I filter out my shots, haha!
