Description
A huge SORRY for the headache this horrible tutorial might cause. It's ugly, but I wanted people to see how I made my very own shoes looking as more realistic as they could be.
Here is a proper list of the material I needed:
White school glue, Spray Glue (for the lycra), a weird super strong glue bought at dollarama... (for gluing the sole)
Lots of foam sheets, Black Lycra, sole feet thingy and a cheap sewing kit. Not to mention scissors and cutter, obviously.
Black separating zippers and black pressure button.
Over all, it must have cost me between 20 and 30$. (Lycra itself was 10$)
I do not really know how to explain what I did, because I didn't even really know what I was doing.
It's really just about thinking what would work best and being very patient. As you can see, I have no sewing skills.
I hope it will help some of you who would like and try to have their own realistic and working Naruto shoes (unlike the one found on ebay and pretty much everywhere...)
Anyways. I you have any questions, I will do my best to answer!
Here is a short video showing the first shoe I finished.

Found this a day before my convention, after I've spent the last several hours suffering a gym boot (a cheap converse knock off.) Words cannot describe my emotions of despair at finding a perfect and beautiful tutorial after all the stupid shit I've just done... I'm saving this for when I make these boots/shoes properly. So mad at myself.

Is there an alternative to lycra? Can it just be the foam or does something need to be over it?

Yup! Used one way stretch lycra, but of course a 4 ways would have been better.

Bwahahaha!

Thanks! I also made a kunai holster (gonna post a photo) and soon I will begin the green Jacket.
The Jacket is kinda scaring me though...

The flak jacket?! Yeah, those look pretty tough, but I'm sure you can pull it off! Just be patient and pay attention to the details!
