I love Mosi's hissing posture and facial expression in panel 3. Very realistic, even if it's a bit dark you can clearly see the cat-ness to that posture and face with hissing mouth and large pupils of a scared kitty.
I don't know if it's just me thinking it, but I think most drawings/comics/art I see of non-realistic cats (ones that don't look like a photo or based on a photo), whenever cats are made scared, people do make the fur fluffy and spiky, but they also often make the pupils small/narrow.
When in reality, the pupils of a scared cat are huge and round, almost filling out the entire eyes.
Remember Puss 'n Boots from Shrek? Yeah. Those eyes. They may look cute, but to any experienced cat owner, those are the eyes of a scared, pissed or a bit too excited cat that will claw you because they are overgeared and too playful if you touch them. Not eyes you wanna see in your cat when you want to approach them.
Narrow-pupiled cat eyes are safer, maybe a midway that's not a straight line but also not too big or round.
Oh yeah, know Toothless from How To Train Your Dragon?
While Toothless' design is mostly based on a salamander/newt, his behavior is obviously based on that of a cat. Yet the way his eyes work are different from cat eyes.
His pupils become larger the more content he is and the calmer he is, while they become narrow and thin when he gets excited, angry or scared, as well as something else I can't really identify (specifically in Gift of the Night Fury where Hiccup gives him a new tail that Toothless can control on his own so he doesn't have to depend on Hiccup. Then his pupils become narrow, backing off from Hiccup when this one approaches him, followed by Toothless suddenly taking off. I feel like whatever Toothless was feeling at that point is very uncertain and unreadable due to the situation...).
Then again, Toothless is a dragon and not a cat, he just has a cat-like behavior.
Meatlog the Gronkle has a dog-like behavior, Stormfly the Deadly Nadder is like a bird, Hookfang the Monstrous Nightmare is like a bat, and Barf and Belch the... two-headed dragon is like a snake. Don't know if any of the other dragon species have their behaviors based on other animals. I think the Night Terrors are like wolves, and the... rhinoceros-beetle like dragon Skullcrusher, a rhino, maybe?

I actually have a black cat called Jackie or Black Jackie, and she also has green eyes. Black cats are the cutest, and Toothless is just as cute<3
