Technique is actually pretty fair, but I am going by the lioness anatomy.

Too stocky, and now I am GLAD you didn't draw Africa pregnant or she'd face the horribleness that the short, INCORRECT lioness is facing. I mean seriously..

I am also messaging you on Twitter with a PROPER pregnant lioness image. And also their height compared to leopards...

Stick with leopards and for the love of god DO NOT draw Africa pregnant... you'll fuck that up too.

ALSO!!!!! The muzzle is too damn thick for a lion. I suggest you research big cat anatomy more, please and thank you.

hey there!
first off i wanna say that the pages of this new chapter all look really nice and vibrant. i really missed that, since many pages before had been mostly gray because of the cloudy weather, so it's nice to see blue sky and the sun again (although maybe not so nice for Africa and co. walking in it). i also appreciate how you reduced the blurriness compared to previous pages, it's a lot easier for the eye now while still conveying the effect of heat emanating from the ground.

now, something i've seen mentioned in a fair umber of comments is the wonky anatomy of the lioness. at first i wasn't even sure if they're supposed to be lions, but the description in the previous page seems to imply that these are indeed lions. if that's the case though, then their anatomy needs some work. as many pointed out, the tail is too short andshould be about 1.5 times its current length. the muzzle is alsoway too large and vaguely angular. it's not as noticeable as a side-view in the third panel, but it becomes really obvious in the front view of the fourth panel. the head also seems a tad too big, but that again is due to the overly large muzzle. some people also said that the lioness is too stocky, and while i personallly think she looks fine in that regard, i do agree that the legs are a bit too short. consider making them a bit longer.
finally, and this is what makes me think that these might not even be lions to begin with, what's up with the differently coloured coats of the other "lionesses"? lions have sand-coloured coats that range from yellow to brown, depending on age. the most notable exceptions are white lions.

So yeah, i hope we will soone find out more about these new felines, and if theyare indeed suposed to be lions, then youmight want to work on their anatomy for future pages

I really like this oh my goodness I'm falling in love with the comics now! You did a great job on storyline and anatomy of these big cats! I love the facial expressions as well, very well done e.deviantart.net/emoticons/h/h… " width="15" height="13" alt="" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="357" title="Heart"/> e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b… " width="15" height="15" alt="" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="366" title=" (Big Grin)"/>

But I would like to say don;t be afraid to attempt using lighter shades for the darker colors (such as the brown and greens). I believe would be more easy on the eyes of some viewers (such as myself who already finds it hard to focus haha). OVERALL great characters and shading too is very much accurate and very well thoughtout. Keep it up, we all support your great art!! 🍎 🍎

Well in this chapter reflect on how wildlife is on the African continent and how difficult it is to live without knowing how the world is beyond the former territory of Africa, this chapter reflects as lions know that there is new competition to marry food always They look for the young to not have it in the near future. This is an excellent chapter and I noticed that it improved its drawing quality and I understand because it takes a lot of time it is essential to know how to reflect the wildlife that African animals are accustomed to e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s… " width="15" height="15" alt="" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="391" title=" (Smile)"/>

Excellent page, and terribly accurate depiction to how can it be to incursion into a new territory for a wild creature...Poor Africa didn't have a clue that there be lions there!...
Now he's completely cornered and her cubs are also under attack o.o...
Now I'm genuinely worried that at least one of them may not make it through this stage of their journey! o.o
You're a master of cliffhangers, Arven! fabulous job!

Lionesses? I'm assuming so, since Lionesses are the ones who hunt for the food and bring it back for the rest of the pride, and they don't have that flashy mane of fur that Lions do... I have no idea what else they could be, i'm not very familiar with African animals
