Description
wood, brassReferences the idea that we are just clockwork, and the legend of the golem.
The pic is not ideal, taken by the gallery. I was in a rush to submit it to a show, and didn't photo it. It sold, no complaints there, so never got the chance, let that be a lesson to you to photograph things promptly.

Dear Anthony,
following an earlier comment on your wonderful sculpture I would like to point your attention to a rather new group called the they recently started accepting sculpture, and are really on the look out for good sculpture. I was sending them the link to your work.
see correspondence under [link]
As the traditional sculpture is still underrepresented in DA (unfortunately) I there a good opportunity to support and create a valuable platform for our medium. Should you not yet know the platform, I would like to ecourage you to contact them, contribute to the group gallery or affiliate yourself as a member.
Stay well!

I learned that lesson under similar circumstances concerning a painting.
This is great and speaking of paintings reminds me of an old one I did. I might have to look it up and post it!
I love your work...so organic and imaginative.

very cool. How did you get it in sections without a harsh edge? Or did you make it in sections. i would imagine that would be alot harder. Very nice though.

So the head was carved in one piece, then the face was cut free from the head with a thin saw, and then split down the middle, so there's a little discontinuity at the joints from the lost wood, but it's not too bad.
