I'm alive! I've been on and off having internet for a while but with any luck I'll have a somewhat more steady connection now?Anyway was trying to test atmospheric effects and transparent materials, the raw render came out with a lot of flaws so I did a lot of post painting on it, so it's really sloppy.

Ahh okay, I'm just doing general studies right now too but I'm experimenting a little bit, not entirely sure where I want to go so I don't want to invest too much money until I have a solid plan.

I do, but it doesn't cover everything, and my mom hasn't been cooperative for a while now and without her info I don't think I get nearly as much. I got my first year more or less free though.

Eh it's not too bad. I originally was going for IT general studies but now I'm honestly considering taking up a tattoo internship. I've had a few places offer but I don't like their work, but I have been practicing a bit with a machine and would like to learn more. Luckily I've got plenty of friends who want my work on them eventually.

The best offer I've had so far is $3,000 for a 1 year internship with a promised spot in shop at the end, but it's too far for me to drive every day and I'd have to quit my current job to do it

Well, there's not too much to read, might be a good time to start from the beginning ^^ I think I'm going to a con soonish and I'll probably be cosplaying Deimos (since I pretty much look like him anyway now. There's hardly any cosplay to it).

Unfortunately I won't have much time for personal work, no. With a large part of my work being done in 3d now, I can probably take about 2 weeks to get a concept down and a scene created and another week or two for render times, so about a piece a month if it doesn't involve a lot of modelling from scratch or anything. I really want to put everything I've got into this apprenticeship though.
