Here's the second and final part of the tutorial! This part focuses on the body of the plushie.
LDS Tutorial Part ONE
And this is the link I refer to for stitching on the head:
Sweetplushiecake's lime tutorial includes a very helpful stitch that is perfect!

I hope it's clear enough for you, if it isn't, I'll have to do it with photos Just let me know!

Unless you want to make the pattern yourself you'll need these:

And this if you want more detailed hands and feet

If it's your first time, these stitches might help you:
Here!

When fully made, the plushie will stand at 12"-13" tall. Longer doll for MORE DETAILED CLOTHES!! 'Cause Ashie lubb the clothes

If you use this tutorial, please link back to me if you upload your plushie on the internet! And it'd be nice if you showed me too!!

I hope this is easy to understand! Just let me know if you get stuck and I'll try to help the best I can

Been working on a plush, but I am so confused on the feet. I have the feet sewn up and ready to attach to the legs, but I'm confused on how to attach them to the legs. I'm not sure which way to have the feet pointing so that they face the right way when I flip it all around and back again. I'm looking at this and the separate foot tutorial but I'm just too dense to figure it out. >_< Which way should the foot point out? How do I sew it into the leg so that it faces out the right way when I flip it all back around again? I'm probably making this harder than it needs to be but I just can't seem to figure it out.

If you lay the plushie body down in front of you with the legs at the top, the toes of the feet should be pointing outwards

What kind of fabric are you using there? Is that the best kind to use?
I use fleece.

AshFantastic In reply to SharkMate [2012-10-22 22:52:33 +0000 UTC]

I dunno if it's the best kind, but it's craft velour. It's not stretchy so it keeps shape really well

I usually don't, but I'm used to working with little or no seam, so it's up to you

AshFantastic In reply to RadioactiveLemon [2012-06-13 17:56:28 +0000 UTC]

The ass and legs?
You line the point on it (on top of the ass) with the spine, then sew down one leg and then the other

I'm actually kinda glad this is here, since it looks like it's a derived pattern from BabyLondonStar's ones and she's no longer on here, making it hard to access her stuff anymore. Thankfully have the PDF of the original pattern still but it's nice to have this here when you want to make dolls with extended legs.
I like making mine with longer legs X3

AshFantastic In reply to CielBendall [2012-05-29 14:24:24 +0000 UTC]

I like making mine with long legs too
And it's upsetting about BabyLondonStar I always looked at her plushies for inspiration

CielBendall In reply to AshFantastic [2012-05-29 15:02:45 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, I went looking for her stuff because her pokemon ones were ace, then typed it in and it said she'd deactivated her account.
