Description Decided to take it a step further with the Star Wars love and tossed my 'Jedi' from the other Star Wars render in here. This is basically a converted 3DS mesh with the textures provided quickly applied and lighting set-up in iray. very little was done to get it render ready and if I do get serious about using this later I'm going to have to either model the details in the cockpit walls or do some serious clean-up on the textures. The pilot seats did some weird geometry flips going into DAZ as well which I'm not sure how to fix just yet. This is almost all self lit though except for a fake 'sun' sitting up and away from the cockpit windows. The hallway at least looks good and I'm kind of curious how the gun well and crew compartment from this mesh render out now.

That looks great - I've got the same 3DS model, but I've never been able to get it to work just right (most of the lights and panels don't show up for some reason). No doubt I'm doing something not quite right, but still, very frustrating.

It wasn't easy and I don't think the textures were optimized very well, at least the versions I've got. You can see the pixelation on the walls behind our character. One of the things I did to get it to glow like that was in DAZ I set the texture to be emissive as well and used the texture to be the light emission.  It's how i get the control panels in my Trek sets to work as well.
