I quite like the whole scene and the suggestion of movement and drama. Although it's just a sketch, it already has everything you need to visualize how the final image could look like.
I'm wondering which colorpalette you would use though. With that you can enhance the vibe of the image even more I think, as long as it's not overdone

I think this idea is a good one, and I would love to revisit it. I think I had played okami a few years before and wanted to take the idea even further.
