Speedpaint Video-Β www.youtube.com/watch?v=wB0pY3β¦Issei ear twitch animation, did this for a friend who wants to know how i animate. So i did a really simple animation of my oc, issei a floof dragon.
I was thinking of adding a wave to it too. But decided not to, and that i was gonna do that in a separate animation another time. Since i was already planning some kind of waving animation for him, that didnt look like this one.

Thanks! I learned from looking at the frames from others' animations, then trying it out in my own style. I have to say I've improved from when I started learning, like I improved a LOT. When I was first learning how to do it, I was emo. That was a bad combination.

Haha, i learnt from both watching movies and examining how animals moved. So i found myself studying the animation every time i watched an animation, instead of just watching it XD

I saw that people make the first frame, trace it, make the last frame, trace that, then make the middle frame. That would be for a short animation, but I guess it could work with anything.

yea i find its easier to use the copy paste technique when its not moving much, or only one body part is moving. Because you dont need to change much. But when its moving around the screen like flying around, not in a spot. Or running around not in a spot ect. You cant really use copy pasting since the image is never the same as the previous one. But i know why people use the copy paste thing, is not just because its easier. But neater too, it wont be jumping all over the place. It will stay in the spot neatly.

Yeah, I'm lazy. I need to actually try animating something complicated for once. I animate a cat chasing its tail or something? Idk, it would be a good practice for perspective and walk cycle.

maybe try the walk cycle first, then go further and try more creative things. Like the tail thing and such.
