Okay, first off, being apart of someone's shadow does not equal being their relative. RELATIVES SHARE DNA. Why do people even think that they are brothers or twins? It's not even possible for Shadow to have a full biological sibling. Black Doom is only like partly father, at the most. But really, unless you have a biological mother and father or some other weird reason where you came from the same place with the same DNA then you can have/are siblings. Mephiles is a demigod, he's half of iblis. So, unless Shadow was apart of Solaris that got split off, then he wouldn't be related to Mephiles. THEY DO NOT SHARE DNA. They are not, siblings for the last fucking time.

Second off, I will agree "Fucked up" is the best way to describe my take on Mephiles' and Shadows relationship, however it isn't in any way related to them being related.

Mephiles: I am not Shadow's shadow. I am a being who took form from Shadow's shadow. Which is why we look alike however I can easily bend my appearance in my crystal form. I did exist and form before I molded myself to fit Shadow's frame. So no, in no way are we related.
