Tenderman appears, at first, to be rather comforting and caring, but he is still a Slender Being, and must eat to survive; the Slender's main food supply being human.
A strange restaurant will suddenly appear in a rather secluded part of a town, the aroma of delicious food pulling in potential victims. Tender will kindly feed these individuals, asking for no currency in return. His guests will gorge themselves on free, delicious food until they are completely full. When they try to leave, however, they find the exit has suddenly disappeared. In a sudden panic, the victims will often run to the back of the restaurant, trying to find an exit.
They will find, however, there is no exit, only a butcher's room, full of human gore and blood. Tenderman will then proceed to butcher his victims with the care of an actual butcher. He will then prepare them, piece by piece, being sure not to waste anything.
The restaurant will then, disappear from the location, just as sudden as it had appeared.
Tenderman then uses these human parts to feed other Slender Beings in his restaurant. When he runs low on human meat, he will transport his restaurant to another location, luring in new victims.
