Description These are my Various Attempts to depict the many glorious creations of Emily Rodda in her book series 'Deltora Quest.'

Yes, I know, the book states that Capricons look just like normal people aside from the horns and legs but I didn't want to do that. You'd still mistake him for a human if you saw him from a distance or the side, but I couldn't resist but make his face a bit goaty. The cloak is just a little something, but I think it's pretty cool. I want one.

I like his goaty face, even if it's not book canon.

The cloak is also cool.
I personally tend to picture Rolf as a bit younger looking. I don't know, in my head he would look more like a tall and lanky young man, somewhere between twenty and seventeen... At the same time I was thinking about Greek ephebes, since Rolf is based on satyrs. I don't remember right now if he was supposed to look more adult.

You haven't drawn the four Sisters? I know they're not really characters, but they are definitively my favorite stuff of series three - and maybe of all of Deltora (alongside Thaegan's children)

I haven't done the four sisters, I guess I was just running out of steam by the time I got to the end of this set, I suppose I could revisit it and flesh them out, though truly it's their guardians who generally look more interesting. Sister one was just a singing blob, sister two was a singing blind worm, sister three was a little grey jelly, and sister four was a gemstone. I also never really drew the dragons because I guess. . . . well. . . everyone knows what dragons look like.

I know, but actually that's what made them so fascinating for me. They were just simple objects. Not big monsters, not evil creatures. Just monstrous devices, similar to the gems or the pipe - but elements, devices created by evil. (it's obvious with the last one designed to be a parody of one of the Deltora gems).
And a small correction: the first sister is not a blob, it was an egg, a "poisonous-yellow and pulsating" egg. The blob was the third sister, grey with veins of... of colors. I think it was crimson, in the image of the Shadow Lord's clouds and magic?

Strangely, I wasn't a fan of the dragons at all. It's not that I'm not a dragon guy, it's just that I don't like generic dragons. And those of the series 3 always appeared to me as generic. I mean, if Rodda had delved into what separated each dragon tribe, and what made them different from each other, I could have maybe bit at the bait, but for now... Nah, they weren't really my thing.
I don't know if the companion book supposedly written by Doran (Secrets of Deltora, I think it is?) delves into the dragon species
