Description
So. It's been forever since I've drawn a dragon picture......Oops. Anywho! This is Drain, I adopted him a while ago. I was just trying to decide how to draw him. He's a young teenage dragon who was abandoned on the streets by his parents and then raised by gangsters. (He's not actually that red, my shading style makes him look that way) I had fun with this drawing only took me 3 hours. Hope you enjoy!Art,Drain(C)

Really love how the picture turned out and the pose is pretty rad. I love the form and the way the spikes running down his back follow the movement of his neck as well. Just be sure that when you have any kind of light source (like the sign above Drain's head), that the glow is captured on his form and casts some sort of silhouette-despite the already dark scene. That's something I would love to see. In my own opinion, it is a little hard to tell whether the sign is causing and sort of glow or not. Overall I really enjoy this piece and look forward to seeing more of these works from you!

Sooo... Guess who has risen from the dead and decided to come comment on your artwork?
I like the ominous, shadowy feeling to this piece. A darkened atmosphere suits the character design well, and the flames on his wings provide a nice contrast. Whilst some pieces can be homogenous (that is, be "uniform" or have the "same thing" all around, such as colour, shading and so on being very similar), sometimes it is good to have a bit of contrast or difference - just be sure to put it where you want the viewer's eye to be drawn to. Just a constructive tip: When drawing walls or buildings, why not use the "line tool" to draw straight lines? It makes the environment seem more realistic.
Overall, however, I really like this!
I can just imagine this character strolling through the streets on a stormy evening...
