Description
A NYSSSA art that i did at the art camp. She's ok when it comes to figure i would have liked to done more to make her more human but i'll have to deal
I love it personally. I'm so proud of myself for actually making a human, i normally suck at humans or don't attempt to make them. She's the sculpture that i built from skeleton to muscle.
I made her in the classes and all i can say is YESSS!

thanks! You know it's crazy but I'm going back to NYSSSA this year. Figure sculpture was amazing! I learned so much about the anatomy that now you could call it an obsession

Nicely done! Great job on the pose, it's very natural looking and she as a good weight about her!
One thing I might recommend is, and I had the same problem too, is the armature itself enters in through the rear which to me isn't the most sightly things and it's pretty intrusive to your over all sculpture. I did an anthropomorphic tiger and unfortunately where the pipe entered for the armature, was right where the tail was supposed to go, so for future projects, see if you can have the armature go in up through the wood where the feet will be, that way there will be no unsightly rods sticking out making it look like the poor sculptures have been sodomized.
I'm probably going to do the same and make my own armature next time rather than buy one.
Here's something that may help and inspire you for future sculptures! [link]
Keep up the sculpting!

Thks you very much for the comment. Yeh the large post is very unsightly but unfortunately that's how the teacher wanted us to make it so that the sculpture had some support, I think. :/ For future sculpts I'll try not to do that
I do need some inspiration. Thanks again!

Wow. The lines above the legs to the body are a bit obvious. But I love how you did the leg position, the tummy, the head and the boobs. That bird is very cute too! Great sculpture!

oh thk you soooo much, that's so nice of you.
I actually worked on the sculpture a bit more and the rea;;y defined hip bones are less noticeable.
and the collar bone that's raised has some muscle over it.

good work there. Humans are probably trickiest, as you see many every day and so tell when something doesn't look right.
Stick with them, and you'll learn tons
