Motto: “Boo-yah, Metrotitan comin’ at ya!”
Bio: Whether it be his loud colorscheme, his booming voice, or his larger then life personality, Metrotitan will do anything he can to get noticed. He’ll do whatever it takes to advance as quickly up the decepticon ranks as possible. He’s funny and friendly with his fellow Decepticons, an unstoppable force on the battlefield, and can always be counted on to get the job done. He almost seems like TOO perfect a warrior. Megatron wonders just how far his ambitions go, and if one day down the road, Metrotitan may challenge him for leadership of the Decepticons.

A 'repaint' I did using Instructions for TRANSFORMERS ANIMATED Ultra Magnus downloaded from Hasbro's official Transformers website, [link]
This was a hard one to do because I didn’t have the actual toy of ultra magnus, and had to go off pictures online. I know it seems minor, but it makes it so much harder when you can’t actually hold a toy and examine it. I can’t believe this repaint was one of my last “leader” ideas. He seems SO perfect for this mold once I tried to put Metrotitan’s colors on him. It’s ugly as hell, but it looks awesome in his garish “90’s Japanese g1 neon” way. The vehicle mode’s colors looks a little off, but it’s actually more coherent then his g1 vehicle mode. And the military missile platform truck just seems like as close to g1’s “vehicle” mode as possible. Couldn’t have asked for this to come out any more perfect in my book. I would actually buy this ugly sob. Very happy with it, and again, can’t believe it was one of the last ideas I came up with.

That's... garish. 'Course G1 Metrotitan is just as bad in the colors department, but yeah, garish. It does fit, tho'. I'll give you that. Just one question for you: Why the heck did you choose that particular shade of sickly yellow for his hammer? To get the full - how did you put it again? "90's Japanese G1 neon" effect was it?

I'm actually not entirely sure why i picked the yellow. I think it was because the windows of g1 metrotitan were yellow, so his clear plastic ended up yellow. I think that was the thought behind it? But yes, it does contribute to the "90's Japanese G1 neon" effect
