Kyle’s head whipped looking through his hair to see a purple haired girl with her outstretched hand covered in wristbands from concert pits finishing in a green day sweatband.
“Hiya my name is Jess please no lame cat jokes. Where did you fall from?”
At this she hunkered down taking Kyle’s hand it felt so warm as she looked up to the fire escape. Kyle breathed deep gasping for air but no words came out.
“Can you walk will I get some help omg look at your hands? Did you do this to yourself?”
He stared into her hazel green eyes asking if she could be trusted he took his hand from hers pushing himself to his knees and then using the walls as Kyle rose to his feet.
“What time is it?” a gravelly voice came from pursed lips as a hand rose to take some hair out of eyesight.
“Its like 3 in the afternoon so now we have established you have a tongue and you got a good taste in music lets see if you have a name” she asked looking up at him for Kyle was a head over her. And she hated people taller than her.

“Not much of a talker then ok I don’t need your life story but I am bringing you to get this cleaned up.” Looking him up and down seeing how dirty this stranger with a name looked “and maybe some shoes cause that has got to hurt” pointing down at Kyle’s feet his toes curling at being mentioned. Kyle looked at Jess as they both walked to the exit of the street. Jess in her converse on the toes “right” and “left” her black jeans followed up with what he could only see was a My Chemical Romance tour t shirt with a purple cross matching her hair colour.
“My head is up here man you better not be some sort of rapist, come on I am heading to Mc D’s you can cleaned up there.” She locked her arm in his leading him down the street.
The pair got some weird looks as they passed passersby Kyle just looking down as he could hear some of their comments “what drain did he come up from?” “Is he wearing shoes?” Entering McDonalds Jess lead him to the disabled toilet and said she will wait hear for Kyle to come back cleaned up.
“Don’t forget to clean in between your toes” she giggled as Jess closed the door. Kyle looked around no window this time he looked into the window he couldn’t blame the people for what they said. As Kyle cupped his hands waiting for water to fall.

After five minutes looking alittle fresher Kyle looked up his face dripping his hands stung from his cuts but at least they had stopped bleeding he thought. Jess knocked in the door.
“Ready or not I am coming in you better be decent.” She peeped around the door. Jess could see Kyle’s back with scars and bruised all over as Kyle turned pulling his top back over his head. Jess bit her lip seeing his stomach a lot more muscular than she thought.
“You don’t clean up so bad come on I got a happy meal with your name on it, hey maybe I will even get a smile out of you.”
Kyle smirked as his mouth watered at just the sound of food, he was starving so as they both sat down in a booth upstairs he wolfed it down nearly biting into the toy inside.
“You don’t eat that silly that is mine Tokyo Hotel sweet, I have like five of these, so you going to spill?” Kyle looked at his drink confused. “Who are you and why were you in that alley?”

“You don’t clean up so bad come on I got a happy meal with your name on it, hey maybe I will even get a smile out of you.”
