Preliminary sketch that turned out better than expected butI think I'm over it.. If I decide to make it into something more than it is I will replace it. For now it is another image of the most patient model aka me. As per usual I think my eyes are a little on the big side, and I think my face is a little long, or is that my nose? Ah well... it is recognisable. Good excersize. I hope to inpire you with something more imaginative soon!-ball point pen

I think also part of the series: returning home if it had to belong anywhere! Natuurgetrouw.. weet ik niet zo zeker. LOL but I guess I'll call that artistic freedom! Glad you like it though!

Ah, a self portrait is a self discovery. You may find a beauty you did not know you had. Returning home would fit there, yes.

I think that is why I drew it... needed to re-analyse upon returning home. Possibly also the reason why I'm not finishing beyond this point.
Beauty; hmmm on th inside then because right now I have 4 stitches in my nose and brow due to an argument with my surfboard. Grrr. At least my eye is open again. Maybe I should do another portrait of that! LOL
