I love African people, they are sooo beautifull to me! This one was mostly inpired by an African jewellery book. It is a woman in song, shaven head for the new beginning of her son who is initiated as a warrior. (Old Art=October 2003)Related content

It was really fun to draw and I think the idea to draw it on printer paper made me press down harder on the colours which created the skin she has!

The skin looks amazing on this one, the details are very beautiful too. The only thing I wasn't able to figure out, is the shape of her ear. It doesn't seem very normal to me

Haha, that depends ony our sense of normal. But you're right! I think she used to have one of those earplates in and later removed it to hang it fulll with jewelery. It messes with your ears!

I'm glad you like it, the book I git it from is one on african jewelerry and there are s many beatifull images in it! I like taking out the unfocussed ones in the back and usng them to make my own image.. very inspiring!
