Description
This took me about 2 hours. I like the smoke around the shell ejecting but the smoke around the flash turned out meh.I edited this in GIMP so it is a little harder than photoshop. I would really appreciate constructive criticism so I can improve.

Yeah. I want photoshop. But I don't have the money for it. GIMP is just harder to use.

When firing from a large muzzle flash, try to add a little bloom effect, and brighten up the light reflection to smooth-en the bump maps. Eitherway, AWESOME MUZZLE FLASH. Oh and the shell ejection shows a little smoke, and the shell should have motion blur.

I tried the motion blur, but when I put it on the bullet it still looked the same.

What do you mean? did you select the bullet and filter it with motion blur? (Meh, I'm a photoshop user, not much on GIMP)

The original bullet overlapped the motion blurred one and I could seem to get rid of the original one. I blurred the bullet on a different layer.

The flash should be a little transparent
