^^updated influence map
These are some of the people that influence me for their work in several causes. Some political, some social, some poetic, some historic. Some were socialist, some were anti-socialist, some were atheist, some were spiritual, some were pantheist, some where theist. Some where founding fathers of the United States, some were slaves of that system, some were victims of the reformation of that system before said system was even established.

If you want to know exactly who each person is, here is the picture with numbers over each of the people, and below shows each number with the name of the people:

Some of these people have made major impacts on my life, some I have had the pleasure of meeting in person, or at the very least seeing them speak at certain events around the United States and abroad. I have read literally hundreds of pages on each of the people mentioned above, for the most part I agree with them all. Though there are some things with some of them I also may not agree with on certain political, or social issues.

When looking at some other “Influence Maps” many of them did not have the reasons why they chose each individual person. I think looking at all of my past writings on what topics are passionate to me that it would be quite easy to see why I choose these individual people for my influence chart.

It should be said that this is only 59, I had made up a list of 100 but that was way too long so decided to try and cut people off of it. I may also do more in the future and break it up into “Political Influence Map” “Musical Influence Map” etc …

Okay, I guess that is all comrades.

Glad you put Lyndon B. Johnson on here. An underrated president in my opinion. While the Roosevelts' are my favorite presidents. Lincoln, LBJ, and Eisenhower are honorable mentions. Also, GEORGE CARLIN! HELL YEAH!

As far as Republicans go, I would of course agree with Eisenhower especially, and Lincoln somewhat. Lincoln disliked slavery but it was not truly the forefront, he said in his letter to Horace Greeley if he could keep slavery and keep the union together he would.. so he does get points for going after and doing away with slavery but I would have wanted it to be more of a I AM AGAINST SLAVERY AND WHETHER OR NOT THE UNION CAN STAY TOGETHER, TO OWN ANOTHER HUMAN IS MORALLY WRONG AND I WILL WORK AGAINST IT ...VS... some people do not like it and as such the union cannot stay together.. if I could appease the slave owners and keep slavery and keep the union together I would... eh..

I would agree the Roosevelts' are my two favorite presidents, and I see when looking at this, when I put FDR, Teddy Roosevelt was supposed to be after him and I forgot to add him.. oops, perhaps I will update this and add teddy roosevelt and a few others

lol! It was a joke my father told me.

This kid had a speech impediment and every day when he got on the bus he'd say to the driver "Gud mooning bus dwiva!"

One day the bus driver decides he can't take it anymore and brings his gun on the bus route and shots the kid. He's taken to court and when the judge asked him why he did it he said "He wa makin fu a me!"

I have met Howard Zinn, Cornell West, Pete Stark, Richard Dawkins, and Noam Chomsky.

Amazing man that make valid points in their speeches. I have seen George Carlin in person but never actually "met" him. The same goes with Maya Angelou, Sam Harris, Daniel Dennet.

You better hurry up with Hitches. Hope he'll pull through.

I haven't read her poetry in years.

AtheosEmanon In reply to YourInnerDemons [2010-10-29 13:17:38 +0000 UTC]

True, but I more so care about meeting Dennet

They have banned "I know why the caged birds sing" in many public schools and libraries starting next year.

YourInnerDemons In reply to AtheosEmanon [2010-10-29 13:26:05 +0000 UTC]

I know, so many they've banned like Lord of the Flies, Fahrenheit 451, Animal Farm, 1984... Geez...

AtheosEmanon In reply to YourInnerDemons [2010-10-29 13:41:02 +0000 UTC]

I have not read it but I just looked it up and may order it

sound like you have the interest in the book(if someone would kind enough to allow that book in translated version(the Indonesia language I mean) or better, in its original version.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

AtheosEmanon In reply to backup12051997 [2013-12-16 14:08:42 +0000 UTC]

Well the English version can be ordered - - but it would take a considerable belief that the Indonesian people want to read it and that the company that make it will make money there before they do that

backup12051997 In reply to AtheosEmanon [2013-12-16 15:38:51 +0000 UTC]

craigslist requires you to go meet the person for the item.. that is what that site looks like

AtheosEmanon In reply to backup12051997 [2013-12-22 14:09:45 +0000 UTC]

well craigslist has been around since 1995

jakarta.craigslist.org/

There is the Indonesia part of the site... I have used it in the past and pretty straight forward.. you search for something..people are often selling this or that.. you have the money.. and you agree to meet someone to exchange what they are selling for funds

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

backup12051997 In reply to AtheosEmanon [2013-12-27 12:03:18 +0000 UTC]

Never know this exist! sounds like craiglist is the easiest of online buying(thought the transaction's like the typical shop transaction.

AtheosEmanon In reply to backup12051997 [2013-12-27 15:39:44 +0000 UTC]
