I just thought about doing this with normal wings... :S But then I thought a 1 winged angel would be cool.
But yesh. That's about it I think...

now there is one thing i suggest you do, when you proportion out the face, use a mirror to mirror the face, that way you will notice the mistakes much easier, cuz for some reason when our brain see the head, it tries to complete it for us, so we dont know why its off or something, but when it doesnt look like a face anymore, or if you change the orientation or mirror it, you'll brain wouldnt be used to that state and will be able to immediately identify the mistake ^^ especially upside down mirrored, is really good too, just have a go at mirroring and see what i mean ^^ and also mirror the reference so you can see how the reference goes ^^

Ya... I had a few problems with this picture... I noticed the issues when sketching but the main constraint for this was time... It was on a day where I only had an hour. xD So madly I decided so ink and sketch the whole thing in that time. o_0 Over my head for sure... But I did it... :S I have got an amazing Ai Enma Sketch... And I mean... Amazing... The detail... Well... Lets just say, I've never spent 1 hour and 20 minutes on the sketch alone... I focused especially on the facial details... And as well... I DID SOMETHING I HAVE NEVER DONE BEFORE! xD
I used the pencil really lightly... o_0 I've done light... But I literally just slightly grazed the paper with the pencil... Just grazing it until it was shapely and perfect.
But yea... That's for a later date... xD A later date where I actually have some ink for my pens. O_O I use the stuff so fast... I feel sorry for the paper...
I know about brains... They are crazy. Just washes over the imperfections... and makes it seem better than it is. I sometimes stick my face real close to the picture... Or compare how a certain feature looks... Like the reflections on the eyes... But the mirror is a good technique...
But there is one flaw with the mirror... And that is that symmetry (Although not applied here... Should be symmetrical. xD) can affect the look of certain characters that don't want to be that... :S So I dunno...
But yesh... I really haven't done tonnes recently...
