Well I can't tell if this is just your art style but under the mother's eyes, there's a dark shadow like thing. Like when people in anime have their eyes gone and are replaced with a purple shadow. That usally means they're crazy or sad or something bad gonna happen. That's kind of what I see on the mom. I just feel like either it's just me being parnoid or you've planned something.
