It is said that in the beginning, there was only darkness. Only an endless primordial sea of emptiness that would be known as Oblivion, or "The Deep". Oblivion stayed in this way for an unfathomable amount of time, until one day, there was an ageless and powerful yet kind voice that said "Let there be light", and thus, existence came to be.

This voice belonged to the One-Above-All, believed to be the highest creative force in known existence, and the source of all there is, was, and ever will be. It is said to be more powerful than all its creations combined. Within the core of all of reality, the One-Above-All constructed a shining mobile fortress, the House of Ideas, where its infinite stories are written and its creations' ideas can take physical shape. Among the One-Above-All's earliest creation was the three-faced god of judgment known only as the Living Tribunal, who acts on its behalf as the supreme authority of the Multiverse.

While all-powerful and all-knowing, the One-Above-All's only weapon is love; however, it can also manifest itself as a demonic entity called the One-Below-All, whose only weapon is hate. As the One-Above-All, it builds; as the One-Below-All, it breaks; and it breaks so that it could build anew.

It is speculated that the One-Above-All is possibly the start of something even higher. There are things that even the One-Above-All does not know, and while the mystery frightens and disgusts the One-Below-All, the One-Above-All is intrigued by it....

Happy New Year, Everybody!!!! As of today, I'm starting a new project, The Extraordinary Marvel Universe (EMU). Inspired by Green-Mamba's Greater Marvel Universe, I've been thinking about this for some time now, wondering if I should do this and when I should start. So, I decided to start the EMU at the New Year.

While it connects to my Uncanny X-Men Project, this is a completely different project that won't have any bearing on that as I'll revamping my X-Men series sooner or later to make it blend in more into this new universe. The reality that the EMU takes place in is designated Earth-PRN101 (Main Marvel Universe is Earth-616, Ultimate Universe is Earth-1610, MCU is Earth-199999). My take on the Earth's Mightiest Heroes (the Avengers, the Fantastic Four, Spider-Man, the X-Men, & others) and the world that they live in is mostly inspired by their Prime Earth versions, but modernized with elements from Ultimate Marvel, the movies, cartoons, etc.

Originally I wanted to start off the EMU with my version of the Fantastic Four as they were the official start of the modern Marvel Universe what we know and love. But I've decided to focus on the EMU's first and earliest lifeforms, starting with the one who created it all--the One-Above-All.

My design of the One-Above-All is pretty much generic--just some near-featureless androgynous figure with a golden glow. The pose that the One-Above-All is in is based off of a shot of Dr. Manhattan from the original Watchman maxi-series by famed comic writer Alan Moore. I also gave it its own magic pencil, referred to as "the Protolith" by religious organizations like the Universal Church of Truth, which is actually a pencil that Marvel writers use in the outside world to write and illustrate their stories. The One-Above-All can extend its will through avatars who resemble real-life notable figures in Marvel Comics. For example, there's Stanley Lehman and his best friend Kirby King Jackson, who are a comic writer/artist duo who work at Timely Publishing (named after Marvel's predecessor Timely Comics), where they write stories based off of the actual adventures of the Earth-PRN101 characters. There's also Stanley's wife Joanna Lehman, a former model from the 60s-70s who supports her husband's work.

Well, that's it for today. And thus, the Extraordinary Marvel Universe begins....
