Description

Today I was organizing my old folders and I realized I still had this thing! I thought I had lost it some time ago. XD

I did these drawings as part of a decoration when I was about to finish my graphic desing career.

It was because at college some teachers always wanted our work in folders and when buying a folder, all folders that are generic and are of this blue color usually. So it happened my classmates sometimes picked up my folder by accident after the teacher was done putting notes on our works.

So I had the idea of drawing stuff on my folder to differenciated it from the rest. And it worked! Also, it was a fun way to experiment with pencil colors and markers, cos I used both.

Funny thing, that happened after, my other classmates started to decorate their their folders with stuff or draw stuff on them as well. And so, there were folders with anime drawings, folders with stickers, gothic folders with knifes and skulls drawn on them, folders with stars and cute flowers, with artists and band logos on them, and folders with geometric figures, pandas drawings, justing bieber photos folders XD….but mine was the only one with a cartoon character fanart on it. And my classmates messed up with me all the rest of the career that it was childlish, but I didn’t cared XD
I was pround and happy, to be different from the masses. It was surprising that their mocking didn’t affected me the way it did when I was a teen, for examble. Maybe because, at the end of the career I knew all of them and I knew, most of them really liked cartoons but didn’t wanted to admit it, so they were jealous I had the courage to stand up for what I like and who I am and they didn’t *chuckles*
