Tell me, how am I supposed to feel?Since you know my pain so well,
Tell me how to heal.
Please feel free to judge me,
Like I don't already hate myself enough;
But before you open your mouth,
Open your eyes and see.
Don't look at the surface,
Tip of the iceberg,
Explore the sea.
And before you open your mouth,
Take a look (at me) and see.
I'm walking, slowly,
Learning with broken wings.
Eggshells, bare feet,
Braving the empty streets,
All alone, and I don't know
Where I'm going to end.
This night is chasing me,
Down.
But before you open your mouth,
Open your heart and see.
Don't look at the surface,
Chase the horizon,
Ever subsiding.
And before you open your mouth,
Take a look at me and see.
All my demons,
All my nightmares.
Reality crashing through the door.
And I don't want to fight this anymore.
And since you know this pain so well,
Since you've already decided,
Simply been blinded,

Open your heart and feel.
Look a little deeper,
See what's hidden inside,
A buried diamond,
That was hidden in the rough.

Wow, jut wow. Amazingly well done. Very true, I would know, I'm often getting judged and told how I feel due to my ADD and other difficulties, though this is grater than what I've felt. Also I loved your choices of examples/metaphors.
