Description
(prints and products at: society6.com/audreybenjaminsen )
It’s been a while since I’ve posted work, but I have been working (and playing) none the less! Sometimes it’s important for my creative process to not post as much on the internet. I find it valuable to take some time to develop without receiving outward validation. However, I love sharing art and I love all of you. Everything has its time.
This bat rider drawn completely in ink marks. Although a very laborious process, I find inking incredibly calming and melodic. It was also nice looking back on my pictures Paris to find good window reference.
Prints are for sale on my Society6 account: society6.com/AudreyBenjaminsen…

It is awesome. Anyone else who had to think of Gregor by Suzanne Collins?

"Like a bat out of hell I'll be gone when the morning comes". Sorry, it came right into my mind when I saw this.... It's an amazing work, by the way, I love it.

This is a superb rendering in ink of something that's rather bright in reality. I love the little rider on the bat, too.

I love it ! Well I hope it's not a living bat, though, because with all the machinery on its wings it would be more a puppet than a mount ^^

Why not ? I didn't thought of that. Poor bat must have been pretty badly hurt, then !
