Caleela and Thistle were nearing the Palace, when Thistle shouted to her, that the meeting between Sienna and her Mother was drawing to a close. Caleela was obviously disappointed, knowing that they were still five minutes ride from the Royal abode.
Caleela: Can't you open a gate, Thistle?
Thistle: If you wish, but it will alert all my sisters that I have done so?
Caleela: So what?
Thistle: And if they ask why I did, what shall I tell them?
Caleela: Just tell them the truth. You said you couldn't lie anyway.
Thistle: They'll berate me for such a frivolous waste of Eider.
Caleela: Then tell them I ordered you to. I'll take the blame.
Thistle: But you haven't ordered me to! You've only asked if I could.
Caleela: Stop splitting hairs, little one!
Thistle: It's true though! You haven't ordered me to.
Caleela: OK! I order you to open a gate!
Thistle: Done!
Thistle gathered her Eider from the surrounding air and land, as a shimmering gateway opened up before them. Caleela wasted no more time, and rode right through it. Thistle followed behind then the gate winked out behind the little Fae.
Caleela dismounted, telling the stable hand to look after her steed. She handed her a silver crown in appreciation, much to the delight of the young apprentice. Caleela strode off purposefully, giving her Mother's quarters a wide berth.
Thistle: Where are you going? They are in your Mother's private garden.
Caleela tapped the side of her nose, which only served to annoy her magical friend.
Thistle: What about me?
Caleela: Go play with Pimple for a while. I think I'll be rather busy for a good bit.
Thistle: Well there's a surprise, NOT!
Caleela: Are you going a bit green, Thistle?
Thistle: Huh! (Winks out)
Caleela shook her head at Thistle's response, then carried on to where she knew the Caramoor's Daughter would be heading.
