Something different this time! I'm in the mood for some art experiments and learning more about digitally making effects, and decided a good way to improve things would be to have a look at some tutorials. I've followed BelieveTheHorror for quite a while and they do stunning work and they started making small tutorials, and so I thought it would be pretty cool to use their tutorial as a reference. I felt like even doing just a few attempts I really improved and figured out how to do better water effects. I put down the attempt order and how long each bit took, and what I was doing primarily in each attempt.

I seriously recommend doing things like this, especially if you're feeling unmotivated or wanting to improve. It's a very good thing for any artist to throw in some experimentation from time to time, and challenging yourself to different styles or time constraints is quite rewarding! I hope you enjoy this little page. I plan to set aside more days and do a few more pages following tutorials and whatnot, and not just BTH's work however they do have several tutorials I'm interested in trying out!
