The original concep comes form the so called surprise boxes(? i think? i'm lazy as for look that word right now (Edit) apparently they are also called jack-in-the-box?

They're concived as "toys" even if they're live beings, but it's more accurate that they're a fusion between a toy and a pet

Yes, they're for chldren, so they must be soft and flexible, not hard edges or anything dangerous, child proofed xd (despite that there are other kind of boxx's that are made for anything, like pranks)

They're naturally very playfull and joyfull, they'll love their owner with their whole heart!

When they're full form they're soft and felxible, but in their boxes they become hard as a rock and even heavier. Also the size is way more smaller

They come in a variety of sizes

They can do almost anything a human can do and are full of energy, but they also must recharge! having good rest it is very important for their healt! since they are forcing their bodies to expand to be on their full form, it doesnt hurts but it is energy draining, they would be nothing without the incredibly flexibity and stretch, they might not even be able to go back to their box form and eventually die

The rings can stretch, they're usually filled with air and looks like ballons, the texture is soft but it's really strong so they won't broke

The flat areas represent the walls of the box but it doesnt needs to be accurate, and can vary their form and places sligtly, unless the one on the head

The fur can also vary

The materials can also change, some boxx's have slime parts, glimmer, neon parts, and anything that is child appealing
