Looking back at my previous version of Ashflake, I'm not impressed. As a result, I did research on ancient Maya fashion and redrew her from the head down, including her body. Now this is better and sexier too. Even gave her tattoos.

The overall design was inspired by www.deviantart.com/shi-gu and his art style since he's one of my favorite artist and I love how he filled a niche in comics and manga. Normally, in manga, it either a eastern or western influentce. Anything else is heresy to the anime and manga industry. Shi-Gu, a Mexican artist, went his own way and made anime and manga with ancient Mesoamerican culture as the main focus. Sure his story is centuries after the Mayans, I'm trying to fill in a niche too. Well, she and her kind are post humans who are more advance than humans and have a taste of Mayan fashion and culture; just minus the Kano style fatality thing.
